Naga Chaitanya heads to Philippines for his next film

After the success of Ye Maya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya signed two films which have already been launched. The first of these two is an action comedy which will be directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Sivaprasad Reddy on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. The second one is a Geetha Arts film, which will be directed by Sukumar. The shooting of Ajay Bhuyan’s film has already commenced and the team came back from a 20 day long schedule from Bangkok earlier this month. Kajal is the lead heroine in this film and this is the first time that Naga Chaitanya and Kajal are acting together.
The latest news is that the second schedule of this film will be in Philippines. It’s a 37 day long schedule which will begin from July 23 onwards. Major portion of the film will be shot in Manila and Boracay Island in Philippines. This is the first time that a Telugu film is going to be shot in Philippines. Few action scenes will also be shot in Bangkok in this schedule. Sriram, who was last seen in films like Aadavari Matalaki Ardhaale Verule and Police Police, is playing an important role in the film. The film also has Samyuktha, Mukesh Rishi, Kelly Dorjee, Rahul Dev and Brahmanandam in lead roles. Gnanasekhar is the cinematographer of this film. He had recently cranked the camera for Vedam. An IIT, Delhi grad who later went on to do his MBA from IIM, Bangalore, Ajay Bhuyan had earlier directed a film Houseful, which hasn’t had a theatrical released. This is his second film.
